• As an Engineering Manager at Samsara, you will lead teams to develop impactful features. • You’ll hire and develop your team, define project plans and roadmaps. • This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada. • You will work on software, firmware, and hardware that drive real world impact. • Together we will help keep industries running smoothly and safely.
• 7+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years managing teams of engineers. • Proven expertise in developing embedded software applications. • Proven track record of applying best practices in development, testing, and deployment. • Demonstrated ability to spearhead strategic initiatives and drive alignment across teams. • Strong experience in project management using agile development methods. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and improving release processes. • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale changes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience developing embedded software applications in Golang. • Experience with Atlassian tool set (e.g.; Jira, Confluence). • Experience with network protocols and wireless technologies. • BS and/or MS in Computer Science or related field.
