Description

• Samsara is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the BLE platform on mobile products. • Help shape the future of mobile apps by architecting and implementing a BLE platform for Android and iOS. • Work closely with mobile team to improve application architecture and development processes. • Partner with firmware and backend engineers on the design of the overall BLE architecture. • Ensure a top-quality developer experience by improving continuous integration and mobile build systems. • Mentor junior developers and produce high-quality maintainable code.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in mobile development for iOS and/or Android. • Has built and shipped high-quality production mobile applications using either native or React Native frameworks. • Professional experience building BLE-enabled mobile applications to interface with hardware products. • Experience building and using observability tools, frameworks, and standards. • Strong leadership skills driving projects and working cross-functionally. • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive independent work. • Passion for exploring and experimenting with new technologies that improve our products for customers.
