• Company Profile • At Sand Cherry Associates, we excel in the design and delivery of strategic customer-centric initiatives through digitally-native, data-empowered solutions. • Our client’s confidence in us is centered on exceptionally skilled, high-energy talent working with the support of the full Sand Cherry team. • Finding the right match for this role is a critical aspect of continuing that success. • Overview • We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer who can convert and elevate training assets, currently in paper format, into digital/eLearning formats for safety, compliance, and equipment topics relevant to oil & gas refineries. • This role will assess and understand what content is needed, design, and create the digital/eLearning elements needed. • In addition, the elements will need to be tested, refined and updated throughout the life of the assigned programs. • Benchmarks and tracking mechanisms of user adoption and engagement will need to be set up and reported to program stakeholders. • This role will be executive facing and requires strong instructional design experience with a proven track record of achievement. • This position will require extensive collaboration with Leadership and Development, Safety and Compliance, Refinery Leadership, and other teams throughout the organization. • This role requires the ability to gain advanced knowledge of assigned programs, functional disciplines and industry knowledge quickly. • This is a remote role and will focus on CST hours primarily, although other time zones could be requested. • Some travel may be required. • Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to work CST hours.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related discipline • Minimum of 4-5 years creating and delivering content in a highly technical environment • Experience with developing and administering safety, compliance, and equipment eLearning programs • Knowledge and experience working with oil and gas refineries is a must • Experience building digital training assets using adult learning principles and methodologies • Experience developing, conducting and reporting results of a training needs assessment • Knowledge of the curriculum development process including analysis, instructional design, developing outlines, learning objectives, materials, and assessments • Ability to communicate complex training content to project stakeholders, answer questions, and ensure understanding • Advanced written and oral communication skills, including strong knowledge of PowerPoint and any learning tool platforms needed. • Coaching or Training certification is helpful
