• The Intern Multimedia Designer’s role is to gain experience and confidence in the multimedia space by executing pre-defined and repeatable multimedia tasks. • These tasks primarily take the form of rebranding existing multimedia assets, and creating simple multimedia assets based on preexisting templates. • They will also assist the team in administrative and archival tasks, such as making sure graphics libraries are up to date, and working files are organized and archived appropriately. • Through these responsibilities, they will learn best practices and how to build and use efficient workflows. • They will also be able to exercise their creativity and grow their skillset further through an ongoing mentorship, and in team knowledge-sharing and skills-building sessions.

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification or 6-12 months of relevant working experience. • A portfolio displaying interest and experimentation in the fields of graphic design, video editing, motion design, and 2D animation. • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs - After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop. • Re-brand existing multimedia assets, such as static graphics, videos, and animations, into new styles. • Create simple multimedia assets based on existing templates. • Perform archival tasks for the team, such as keeping graphics libraries up to date. • Adhere to brand guidelines in all your work. • Perform quality control on your work. • Implement changes to your work based on feedback received. • Undergo mentorship from a senior member of the team, and proactively work on the skills identified. • Manage your time efficiently, and keep open lines of communication with the team. • The ability to work to a deadline.
