📋 Description

• Conduct training for Middle and High School audiences • Create and facilitate adult-facing professional development training • Ensure programs are delivered in an outcomes-driven, engaging, inclusive, and youth-friendly format • Manage a small team of 1 – 3 full-time trainers • Design and deliver high-quality in-person and virtual training • Engage diverse student audiences through a REDI lens • Conduct up to five 45-60 minute presentations daily • Create training materials and provide professional development to adult audiences • Ensure program quality and fidelity, aligning with SHP’s mission and values • Serve as a Sandy Hook Promise ambassador in schools • Coordinate personal travel arrangements and assist with regional trainer travel

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience delivering training to both youth and adults • Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) standards • Experience designing and facilitating adult training • Spanish fluency (written and spoken) • Skilled in adapting delivery for diverse populations and different audience types • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement for high-performance delivery • Strong communication skills, including email and virtual platforms • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom) and confident in using tech for virtual training • Highly reliable: punctual, delivers presentations with accuracy, and proactively addresses challenges • Proven ability to engage both youth and adult audiences • Willing to travel up to 50% of the school year, including overnights, and manage travel arrangements using company card • Must live within 30 miles of an airport. • Prefer experience in K-12 education or mental health • Committed to SHP's vision and values
