Description

• Transform the future of cloud industry together with Scalr! • As a SRE Tech Lead Engineer, you'll design new architecture components, enforce SRE practices, and mentor engineers. • Contribute to our platform's reliability, scalability, and efficiency with a strong tech stack including GCP, GitHub, Terraform, and more. • Collaborate with various departments and lead the team in high-quality software development.

Requirements

• Experience in architecting, launching, and maintaining complex architecture for distributed web applications. • Proven previous experience in technical leadership positions, including capabilities in mentoring, navigating SRE teams, and making high-quality technical decisions. • Strong knowledge in: - Terraform (for GCP) - Linux (RHEL/Debian, bash scripting, strong linux internal knowledge) - Docker - Google Cloud Platform - Monitoring, logging such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, etc. - Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI or similar. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Python experience (experience in Python scripting is enough) would be a plus. • Experience with GitOps, Argo CD, Flux CD or similar would be a plus. • Experience with Chef, Omnibus, Ruby would be a plus. • Experience with Go would be a plus.
