• Project Overview: Perpetual is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing plastic waste through city-scaled reusable foodware distribution systems. • Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development of a web application that facilitates the implementation of Perpetual's foodware design system across U.S. cities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 5+ years of experience • Proven track record of delivering scalable web applications or software solutions. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments. • Commitment to agile development practices and iterative improvement • Previous experience being lead engineer on a project • Significant experience in writing high-quality Python code. • Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
