• The Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all environmental regulations and standards. • This role involves monitoring and evaluating the company’s environmental impact, developing and implementing compliance strategies, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner. • The specialist will work closely with various departments to promote sustainable practices, conduct audits, and provide training on environmental policies. • By maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal environmental laws, the Environmental Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in minimizing the organization’s environmental footprint and promoting a culture of environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• 7 years of Environmental compliance experience with an applicable certification, or a bachelor’s degree in applied science or related field and 3 years of experience in Environmental compliance • Management of environmental programs at a production facility level. • Creation of environmental training programs. • Conduct plant audits to identify regulatory improvement opportunities and proposes appropriate action plans. • Generate reports of audit findings, convey to plant leadership, and drive action plans to completion. • Ability to travel up to 25%.
