Description

• Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. • Collaborate with key partners across the company to drive process improvements and support financial operations. • Oversee and ensure the integrity of transactions throughout the accounting cycle. • Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses and analytical reviews. • Research and review transactions and provide necessary analyses. • Assist with financial statements and tax audits; lead and assist in preparing audit schedules, providing data to auditors, coordinating with auditors and responding to their queries. • Work closely with FP&A to enhance reliability and accuracy of forecasts and reports. • Assist with developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining streamlined process improvements, accounting policies, controls, and procedures as needed. • Ad hoc accounting requests and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; active CPA license • 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and US tax regulations • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in month-end close, reconciliations and audit preparation • Strong analytical skills and high level of comfort working with large data sets • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully work on multiple concurrent projects and manage competing priorities • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization • Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting software and programs
