Description

• Manage and optimise Scope’s end-to-end supply chain activities. • Maintain a balance between cost, efficiency, and service quality. • Significant interaction across our global supplier and distribution network as well as internal stakeholders. • Engage with 3rd party DCs to ensure that agreed SLAs are met. • Maintain optimum inventory levels (planning/forecasting, stock control, stock transfers). • Investigate and resolve stock queries & Integrate new SKUs. • Manage export inventory and orders. • Coordinate product kitting and rework with dedicated partners. • Engage with suppliers and manufacturers (orders, prices, lead-times). • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contracts. • Create / maintain supplier metrics. • Plan supply and follow through operationally (Purchase orders, Logistics, Receiving). • Negotiate best rates with freight carriers; ensure timely and correct handling (incoterms, commodity codes, routes, regulations); deal with logistics issues arising. • Collaborate with our Sales Fulfilment and Customer Services and Export teams. • Work with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure that all quality standards, legislative requirements and company policies and procedures are met, maintained and ongoing reviewed. • Collaborate with NPD team on new product launches and support integration projects. • Develop, monitor and communicate supply chain KPIs. • Extract and analyse data to reduce costs and increase efficiency. • Report KPIs to relevant parties within agreed deadlines. • Implement supply chain best practices. • Participate and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Third Level Degree in Business or Technical Discipline or significant career experience in Supply Chain Qualification supply chain management is desirable. • Membership of a professional body is advantageous. • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in end-to-end supply chain management • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in medical/healthcare/pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry • Demand/Supply Planning and S&OP experience • GDP/GMP knowledge • Strong understanding and experience of the context of MHRA/HPRA • Dealing with and managing medical wholesalers and pre-wholesalers in UK-EU, US • Strong experience with CMOs and with managing and solving related challenges • Experience of raw material procurement • Experience of managing a complex global network of contract manufacturing and third-party distribution, incl. sourcing, purchasing and supplier analytics • Experience working with an ERP system • Solid understanding of regulations or has experience of working in a regulated or controlled environment (GDP/GMP) • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Track record of problem solving and process improvement skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Analytical skills, experience with creating data reports and dashboards • Strong IT systems skills e.g. MS packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Excellent Project management skills. • Ability to write SOPs and interact with Quality/Regulatory team • Has a proven track record of presenting and influencing at senior levels. • Ability to be hands on and to get involved with variety of tasks • Can manage effectively within a fast paced and changing environment. • Ability to work effectively within strict cost / time parameters. • Has the flexibility and desire to travel (up to 5%) within Ireland, UK and International.
