Description

• Design, develop, monitor, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines using Go and other relevant technologies. • Implement scalable and efficient solutions to support the functionality and performance requirements of our sports media platform. • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for efficient data storage and retrieval. • Deploy and manage backend infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience across ScorePlay's product portfolio. • Test and debug your own code, as well as others', to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability across different environments and use cases. • Serve as a technical leader within the development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience with test driven development, (knowledge in behavior-driven development or Domain-driven-development is a plus) • Strongs skills in software design and architecture • Proven experience as a backend engineer, with expertise in Golang • Strong understanding of database management, scalability, and performance optimization. • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, asynchronous processing and cloud monitoring. • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
