Description
• Scroll is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum • You will join a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly skilled engineering team • Collecting, analyzing, and building dashboards around Scroll’s on-chain data • Manage and optimize databases to store blockchain data • Create and manage automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to extract and transform raw blockchain data into structured and accessible formats • Update Scroll’s website to surface insights gathered from blockchain data • Collaborate closely with the product and growth teams • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code
Requirements
• 2+ years as a data engineer • Understanding of blockchain data structures and smart contract event data • Experience in creating and managing automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to extract, transform, and organize raw blockchain data into structured formats for analysis and reporting • Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web development tools. • Experience with building RESTful APIs and working with databases • Ability to work independently and strong communication skills to gather requirements cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
