📋 Description
• Responsible for conducting audits in accordance with food safety and quality management systems • Travels to client sites and performs audits • Determines compliance and reviews corrective actions • Submits audit reports for review and certification • Supports the technical team during down times • Manages client relationships and responds to inquiries • Maintains up to date knowledge of regulations and standards • Conducts technical report reviews and supports Technical Manager on certificate decisions
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Engineering, or other related scientific areas • 2+ years experience in third-party auditing in the assigned schemes • 5+ years of industry experience in Quality Assurance, Technical or Risk Management at a managerial, decision making level • 2nd or 3rd party auditing experience may also be considered • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment • Ability to complete time-sensitive projects and to provide realistic deadlines • Highly organized, deadline driven with superior time management skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently as well as on a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
