Description

• Create visual effects art assets that balance performance, efficiency, and artistry to achieve optimal run time visual quality and game performance; • Research, conceptualize and derive quality visual effects from references to apply on various aspects of the game; • Collaborate with the art director, game designers, and developers to ensure that VFX meets the game requirements while adhering to artistic standards; • Share knowledge and best practices with teammates; • Actively participate in technical and artistic discussions and problem solving; • Ability to summarize his work and documentation for internal & external communication.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in similar roles with at least one AAA game shipped on PC or console; • Prior experience creating 2D and 3D stylized visual effects; • Experience working with Unreal game engine and Niagara; • Knowledge of software like Maya/Blender/Houdini, Photoshop/Substance, Embergen, etc.
