📋 Description

• Are you a detail-driven accountant with a passion for accuracy, financial integrity, and process optimization? If so, we’d love to meet you! • We’re a leading tech-driven SaaS company experiencing rapid growth. As we scale, we need a General Ledger (GL) Accountant to manage core accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and improve processes in alignment with GAAP and industry best practices. • As our General Ledger Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance. You’ll work closely with finance, operations, and leadership to provide financial insights that drive decision-making. • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP. • Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities. • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP. • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, reduce manual work, and improve financial reporting efficiency. • Partner with HR, Revenue Operations, and Accounts Receivable/Payable to ensure financial data accuracy and timely processing.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience (preferably in a SaaS or tech environment). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress). • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. • Experience with accounting software (Intacct, NetSuite, Expensify, and Salesforce Billing are a plus). • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies. • Effective communication skills—able to explain financial concepts to non-finance teams. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
