📋 Description
• Seeq creates cutting-edge data analytics software for industrial process data • As a Staff Software Engineer, shape the technical direction and architecture of our platform • Lead design and development of complex software systems • Mentor and coach junior engineers • Drive innovation and implement new technologies and frameworks • Passionate about crafting exceptional software • Strive for continuous improvement in software development • Advocate for unit testing and continuous integration • Collaborate through pair programming and provide actionable feedback • Adapt and bring fresh technologies to the team • Work on the tech stack including a JVM language or Python for backend functionalities • Craft visual pages for Typescript + React applications • Welcome occasional travel for face-to-face interactions
🎯 Requirements
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field • Have at least 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing and building complex software systems • Possess expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript • Demonstrate a strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices • Have experience working with cloud platforms and technologies, like AWS, Azure, or GCP • Show excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail • Be familiar with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban • Show proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment • Experience with data analytics or industrial process data is a plus, but not required
