📋 Description

• Location: New York, NY (Remote anywhere in the U.S.; ET preferred) • Job type: 12-month Contract • Hourly rate: $73/hr (candidates requiring more than this will be considered, but preference will be given to those accepting $73) • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Administrator with strong experience and a proven track record of managing or supporting large scale integration projects in the insurance industry. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing issues and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed and resolved on time and in alignment with program schedule. • This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • A résumé detailing the candidate's skills and experience will be crucial for this role. • 35-hour work week • Responsibilities: Project Coordination, Issue and Risk Management, Documentation, Stakeholder Communication, Meeting Facilitation, Resource Management, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP NOW AND IN THE FUTURE. • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, project management, or a related field. • 10 years overall of related work experience (IT and insurance) • 3+ years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in IT infrastructure projects. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent • Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid and tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Trello. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software. • Experience with IT infrastructure technologies and concepts (e.g., networking, servers, cloud computing). • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Insurance industry background
