Description

• Play a supporting role in the production of quarterly and annual financial statements • Assist the auditors and fund administrator through the quarterly financial statement preparation and annual audit • Prepare bank account reconciliations • Prepare monthly debt rolls and compliance reporting • Assist with the quarterly and annual tax work • Assist with ad hoc investor questions and periodic investor reporting • Support the know-your-client "KYC" process for new business relationships • Maintain and review internal general ledger data • Participate in various projects to help strengthen internal controls and/or create efficiencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent business experience • 3-5 years of Accounting experience • Self-starter comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment • Strong attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • CPA or CMA designations or MBA degree preferred • Relevant residential mortgage loan / REO accounting and operations experience preferred • Relevant private equity fund accounting experience preferred • SQL and Tableau knowledge preferred • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
