📋 Description

• Selkirk Sport is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team in Estonia. • This role will primarily support the accounting operations of our U.S.-based company while also handling the financial record-keeping for our Estonia entity. • The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles. • Key Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents • Support month-end and year-end closing processes • Identify and resolve discrepancies in vendor and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions • Complete accounting processes & tasks in our workflow system • Use Google spreadsheets to process reports and accounting records • Collaborate with the customer service & logistics team on any accounting-related issues • Track and report accounting efficiency & issues to management • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws • Work closely with the U.S. finance team to maintain a statutory set of books • Maintain intercompany chart of accounts and transactions • Improve accounting processes and create new documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred. • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software & tools quickly • Comfortable processing data utilizing Google spreadsheets • Able to process a high volume of incoming requests and tasks • Strong attention to detail while maximizing efficiency • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Agile and flexible working style to take on new tasks and work outside your job description if necessary
