Description

• Selkirk Sport is an industry leader in pickleball innovation. • Seeking a Backend Developer in Estonia to help lead pivot to a full code framework. • Responsible for managing the backend and ensuring seamless integration with Palantir. • Lead backend development as we transition to Astro. • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code. • Manage and optimize Supabase integration for data synchronization. • Integrate backend with Palantir’s platform for smooth data flow. • Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to meet project goals. • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues for high-quality backend. • Optimize performance and scalability as traffic grows. • Document backend processes and workflows.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of backend development experience. • Strong experience with Supabase, including setup, management, and integration. • Proficient in backend frameworks and languages, such as Python, Node.js, or similar. • Familiarity with database systems and data modeling (SQL, NoSQL, etc.). • Experience integrating backend systems with third-party platforms (Palantir preferred). • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Proficient English speaking skills • Experience with Astro or willingness to quickly ramp up on the framework. • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). • Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue.js) and how backend services support frontend development. • Familiarity with pickleball and a passion for sports technology.
