• Sensia is looking for a self-organized and experienced Cloud professional who can define, implement, and manage cloud-based systems within the Microsoft Azure cloud. • The ideal candidate is experienced in Microsoft cloud-based technologies, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and ability to deploy them to help our business become more secure and efficient. • Extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance, advanced industry knowledge and effective performance / cost optimisation is key to the success of this role. • From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our cloud operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth. • The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a cloud engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms. • Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities. • Knowledge of authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC • Knowledge of cloud security controls including conditional access policies, tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. • Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with Disaster Recovery capabilities • Extensive, real-world experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions with a focus on cloud technologies • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraforms, etc. • Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data
