Description

• Develop and maintain system security plans • Ensure compliance with client policy, standards, and regulatory requirements • Conduct thorough security assessments • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information • Document and implement security controls to mitigate risks • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls • Update IT security policies & procedures • Participate in audits and compliance activities • Assist with security and risk assessment • Work with team to remediate findings • Maintain a keen eye for detail • Strong analytical skills • Good communicator • Deep understanding of client guidelines

Requirements

• Deep understanding of client standards • Developing comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with client Special Publication 800-53 • Conducting security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls • Technical Writing skills • Understanding of IRS 1075, SSA security, or other regulatory requirements • Experience with creating and maintaining IT policy and procedures • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred • Previous experience providing security services for government a plus • Familiarity with the client's environments is valuable • Administrative/Technical Writing Experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of IT Security standards and controls • Experience with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Publication 1075 • Project Management experience
