📋 Description

• Sharetec is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team! • We believe in a people first business. • Developing innovative solutions for credit unions and their members. • Strong background across various infrastructure domains is required. • Designing, implementing, and maintaining physical and cloud-based environments. • This role requires expertise across multiple infrastructure domains including servers, firewalls, switches, storage, and backups. • Responsibilities include managing hybrid environment datacenter and Azure cloud environments, monitoring, optimizing, troubleshooting systems, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience • 7+ years’ experience designing, building, securing, and managing VMWare stack (ESXi, vCenter) • 7+ years’ experience working with Linux and Windows • 3+ years’ experience working with Azure • 5+ years’ experience working with storage solutions • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, DFS, FTP, SFT, MFA, VPN, password management, and SSO • Strong working knowledge of network and firewall technologies (Cisco and Fortigate preferred) • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred) • Proven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to resolution • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in diagnosing complex infrastructure issues • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
