Description

• The Cloud Engineering Team are a key part of the Banks future vision. • We are already playing a fundamental role in modernising the Banks infrastructure as we design, build and deploy new workloads onto the Cloud for the Shawbrook Group. • We are working on delivering cutting edge cloud technology for the bank as we scale up, modernise, and migrate all of our systems. • We’re looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer to join the team at this exciting and transformative time. • Working in a fast paced environment you will advise and guide the business with cloud migrations, new platform deployments and 3rd party Cloud engagements. • This is a varied and dynamic role, at the centre of Shawbrook’s hybrid multi-cloud strategy. • You will be supporting high-impact projects that are integral to the bank’s growth and resilience.

Requirements

• Cloud Deployment Architecture- You will need extensive understanding of structuring architecture for security, resilience, scalability and overall cost efficiency, including deploying, managing, and securing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS based cloud systems. • Terraform- You will be using advanced Terraform skills to script and deploy all cloud infrastructure as code to DevOps pipelines. • CICD Pipelines- You will be deploying all infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines in line with industry best practices. • Azure & AWS- You will use both Azure and AWS to deploy, migrate and manage the Shawbrook Hybrid Multi-Cloud Platform. • Cloud Networking Security- You will need a security focused mindset when deploying and an understand of how network infrastructure communicates with the cloud in line with security best practice. • Experience working in financial services or a highly regulated environment would be beneficial.
