📋 Description

• The Sustainable Design & Construction Manager (SDM) will be responsible for managing, planning, and overseeing all LEED-certified capital projects. • The SDM will support the C&I sustainability strategy by performing various duties and initiatives. • Duties include but are not limited to managing the full portfolio of LEED projects. • Coordinate with PMs to ensure that LEED points are being met in the design process and then implemented in the construction phase. • Prepare all required documentation to be submitted and approved by USGBC.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to building science, such as architecture, engineering, or construction management • 5 + years of relevant experience with LEED and/or other third-party certification project work, including documenting credits on LEED Online, LEED Volume, and/or LEED Campus experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret formal construction documents, inclusive Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscape, and Civil plan sets and specifications • Knowledge of Construction Specification Institute (CSI) format • Advanced certification (LEED AP BD+C) is a requirement. • Strong analytical skills • Related technical experience may be considered in place of education requirements. • Understanding of Project Management, Procurement, Risk/Insurance, and Accounts Payable functions • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, team members, and suppliers in a professional manner • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite • Superior time management skills • Excellent leadership skills • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or PM Web or similar PMIS applications. • Ability to work autonomously while providing oversight and updates to leadership • The job will require 20% travel and a valid driver's license.
