Description

• Lead utility-scale solar energy storage projects at Silicon Ranch. • Contribute your unique expertise and industry experience in support of technically and economically advanced project designs and proposals. • Responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-efficient designs in support of our energy storage systems. • Interface with various teams to provide design and technical support for energy storage systems. • Conduct site visits to support evaluations and permitting efforts. • Assist business development and project finance with cost estimating and PPA pricing recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of energy storage experience required. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required; Additional educational qualifications such as master’s degree, a PE or PMP desired. • Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Utility scale battery energy storage system design and installation experience required. • Experience with commissioning, operations, and testing of bidirectional inverter control systems strongly preferred. • Experience in commissioning, operations, and testing of Li-ion and other battery chemistry strongly preferred. • Experience in HMI, EMS, and SCADA systems is a plus. • Experience working for an OEM Battery suppliers a plus. • History of successful navigation and assisting with environmental permitting process around BESS siting is a plus.
