Description

• Manage the accounting system and records • Own the monthly close process in NetSuite • Post monthly journal entries for revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts • Maintain offline close schedules in Excel • Reconcile accounts and make adjustments as necessary • Ensure financial statement accuracy • Oversee AR and AP to ensure payables and invoices are handled in a timely manner • Support annual corporate tax filings • Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax filings • Support annual audit • Interact with external technical accounting advisors, tax team, and auditors • Support and implement process improvement and automation projects • Work with leadership to establish and implement internal controls

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience; SaaS experience a plus • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or CPA preferred • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to multi-national corporations a plus • Proficiency in NetSuite required • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders • Effective time management skills • Location: Remote - Eastern/Central time zone only
