🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. • 5+ years of experience in development of backend services and systems that support our platform’s needs, with a primary focus on Ruby • Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and containerized applications (Docker) • 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on web applications and data-driven platforms • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including strong typing and interface design for scalable codebases. • Deep understanding of React and its ecosystem, including hooks, functional components and React Server Components (RSC). • Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for building responsive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing UIs. • Experience in building data visualization tools and dashboards using React-based libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js). • Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) using Next.js, optimizing for performance and SEO. • Proficiency in backend development (e.g. Node.js) with tRPC as an API framework. • Experience designing and developing APIs, handling authentication, authorization, and security best practices. • Proficiency in building scalable and reliable data-fetching layers, especially for real-time or large-scale analytics. • Experience with serverless architectures, understanding of edge computing, and CDN usage for enhancing performance and reliability. • Solid experience with Vercel or other serverless platforms for deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring. • Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Vitest, Cypress, or similar, ensuring quality and stability of applications. • Proficiency in Git for version control, including experience with pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with the U.S.-based teams and work 11 am — 8 pm EEST.

We use powerful scraping tech to scan the internet for thousands of remote jobs daily. It operates 24/7 and costs us to operate, so we charge for access to keep the site running.

Of course! You can cancel your subscription at any time with no hidden fees or penalties. Once canceled, you’ll still have access until the end of your current billing period.

Other job boards only have jobs from companies that pay to post. This means that you miss out on jobs from companies that don't want to pay. On the other hand, Remote Rocketship scrapes the internet for jobs and doesn't accept payments from companies. This means we have thousands more jobs!

New jobs are constantly being posted. We check each company website every day to ensure we have the most up-to-date job listings.

Yes! We’re always looking to expand our listings and appreciate any suggestions from our community. Just send an email to Lior@remoterocketship.com. I read every request.

Remote Rocketship is a solo project by me, Lior Neu-ner. I built this website for my wife when she was looking for a job! She was having a hard time finding remote jobs, so I decided to build her a tool that would search the internet for her.
