📋 Description
• At Skillsoft, we propel organizations and people to grow together through transformative learning experiences. • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lead for our Automation and Integration team. • This individual will be responsible for growing and maturing the team, driving operational excellence, and fostering the adoption of advanced automation and integration technologies, including AI automation and agentic AI with solutions such as Workato, Microsoft Power and Logic Apps and Microsoft Copilot. • Team Leadership and Development: • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of automation and integration specialists. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. • Technical Expertise: • Provide architectural guidance and support for integration and automation projects. • Ensure the team has a strong understanding of integration and automation patterns. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and software developers to gather integration requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. • Operational Excellence: • Drive the maturation of operational processes and practices. • Implement best practices to ensure high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. • Implement data governance and security measures, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. • AI and Automation Adoption: • Promote the adoption of AI automation and agentic AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot. • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in automation and AI. • Strategic Vision: • Align the team's goals with the broader organizational strategy. • Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to enhance the company's automation capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of progressive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations using iPaaS platforms (Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato or JitterBit). • Strong knowledge of API management, SOA, ESB, Web Services, and other integration concepts. • 5+ years leading and developing teams • Proficient in data mapping and transformation, and experienced with multiple data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, etc. • Familiarity with a range of databases and programming languages. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven attitude. • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience in designing and implementing complex middleware solutions. • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management frameworks.
