Let’s talk about what we’re hiring for: • SkyBox Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Gameplay Animator to join our growing team. • This creative individual will be part of the New Projects Division that participates in unique opportunities on external IP, as well as development of internal IP. • Someone who is passionate about their craft, who constantly strives to keep their work at AAA quality, and enjoys the challenge of new game environments would be a great fit for this role.

Requirements

• Strong proven ability to create hand keyed animations for gameplay (shown in a robust animation reel/portfolio) • Compelling professional gameplay animation experience with at least one AAA shipped game title • Experience animating 3rd person player controlled characters • Outstanding grasp of the Principles of Animation and human body mechanics • Knowledgeable in implementing and modifying game animation systems and state graphs • Familiar with Maya and animation tools like AnimBot • Self-sufficient and resourceful, with strong communication and organisational skills • Comfortable receiving constructive feedback • Nice-to-haves: • Experience with FPS • Experience working with mocap • Technical animation comprehension in Unreal
