📋 Description

• Lead the integration effort of a major new product to an existing software platform • Build up and lead an interdisciplinary team consisting of analysts, QAs and developers • Lead change management and team dynamics around a potential merger of teams • Create and manage a technical roadmap to guide the migration while ensuring new functionalities are implemented • Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing application, identifying dependencies, integrations, and potential challenges • Plan and execute the migration of data if required, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime • Address technical challenges and make decisions on software architecture, design patterns, and technology stack • Maintain and support the current and future system through the transition and migration period • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with the migration and operation of both systems • Analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into modelling decisions and code • Establish and enforce coding standards, review code, and oversee testing processes on both platforms • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure code • Ensure documentation of code, requirements, development processes, testing standards and coverage • Lead process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency • Conduct and lead regular 1-on-1s and team meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or relevant working experience • Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies (SQL, Python, DAX, Spark) • Ability to develop and implement strategic visions for data architecture and AI capabilities • Experience with deployment of AI solutions • Experience with IoT data and telemetry data is a plus • Prior experience leading and managing data management teams • Ability to understand business concepts quickly and communicate with stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts and project updates clearly
