Description

• Open to permanently remote candidates. • Experience with Data Streaming Technologies is required. • Experience with Redpanda preferred. • Development and support of multiple data ingestion processes, both proprietary and EDI, leveraging a modern data streaming architecture. • Actively participate in EDI modernization development effort. • Reverse engineer documentation from legacy production code for existing undocumented processes. • Work collaboratively with internal resources to assess and understand technical specifications and business requirements. • Analyze requests from internal and external clients to determine scope of request. • Maintain responsibility for timely and accurate project completion. • Unit test development. • Triage production issues and affect solutions. • Provide technical advice to lead and/or support new and existing client implementation. • Performance and optimization analysis. • Research, define, and implement new methods to modify the system to improve workflows. • Develop new processes for currently unsupported HIPAA EDI standards. • Develop and maintain technical documentation. • Perform diagnostics of new and existing processes. • Assess the quality of data contained within system databases. • Perform routine and ad hoc data maintenance.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree or equivalent years of experience. • Four years of professional work experience in a software engineering role using data streaming technologies. • Three years of demonstrated data integration experience using modern data streaming technologies (Kafka, Redpanda) building producer, consuming producer, and leveraging associated patterns. • Demonstrated experience with developing REST API’s, .NET Core, .NET 8, services. • Previous experience in successful technical training of co-workers. • Strong knowledge of data streaming technologies (Kafka/Redpanda). • Strong knowledge of database application and data query protocol (MS SQL Server, Transact-SQL). • Strong knowledge of C#. • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology. • Ability to manage projects to successful outcomes within required timeframes. • Basic knowledge of health industry. • Knowledge of health care HIPAA standards and EDI Processing 837(D,P,I) 834 276/277 270/271 835 277CA 999 278. • Knowledge and proficiency in: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript: Bootstrap, Typescript, Angular (current version), React, Vue. • Strong knowledge of SSIS/SSRS. • Strong knowledge of SQL Server stored procedures. • Previous experience using EDI Fabric. • Familiarity with the HL7 Standards. • Previous healthcare management experience.
