Description

• SkyGrid, a Boeing SparkCognition Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. • Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of autonomous aircraft. • Looking for a System Engineer Manager to lead the system engineering division. • Responsible for the growth of the system engineering organization, fostering the company culture, creating system engineering company processes, and providing technical subject matter expertise. • Collaborate and coordinate with other functional managers and technical leads while reporting to the Chief Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree from an accredited university or college. • 10+ years of experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry. • 4+ years of experience working in a Systems Engineering position and 3+ years of experience managing a team. • Familiarity with all phases of the Systems Engineering design process: ConOps, requirements development, software/system Architecture, system Integration and test, Verification and Validation. • Experience with ARP 4754A as well as support for System Safety reviews per ARP 4761.
