• Smarsh empowers its customers to manage risk and unleash intelligence in their digital communications. • Our growing community of over 6500 organizations in regulated industries counts on Smarsh every day to help them spot compliance, legal or reputational risks in 80+ communication channels before those risks become regulatory fines or headlines. • Relentless innovation has fueled our journey to consistent leadership recognition from analysts like Gartner and Forrester, and our sustained, aggressive growth has landed Smarsh in the annual Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing American companies since 2008. • We are seeking a rigorous, problem-solving, and curious Platform Engineer (who codes!) to join our Fabric Engineering group. • Fabric teams at Smarsh combine software and systems engineering to build and run products that equip our engineering teams with secure tools and infrastructure to do their best work. • We are looking for someone who can build systems that engineers love to work with. • In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our platform by developing tooling and providing hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, and optimise our services in a compliant and cost-effective way in the cloud.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, network security, and runtime environments. • Solid knowledge of Unix or Linux systems and TCP/IP network fundamentals. • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, with hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing applications efficiently. • Proficiency in a programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or similar. • Experience with Terraform for managing and provisioning infrastructure, with a strong focus on integrating infrastructure management and change through DevOps processes to enhance automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) • Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). • Strong communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to driving team success.
