Description

• Analyze functional and technical needs to develop effective solutions with the Wordpress CMS • Plan, conceptualize and program sites in Wordpress • Adhere to back-end department development standards, including time estimation • Collaborate with the development team to design, implement and maintain backend features • Participate in team meetings as well as scrum to strengthen team cohesion and alignment • Ensure the performance, security and scalability of sites using Wordpress • Contribute to continuous product improvement by implementing the latest Wordpress features and best practices • Work closely with frontend teams to ensure smooth integration • Carry out quality checks • Create training tools and technical documents • Use Git for code versioning and team collaboration

Requirements

• Diploma in computer science, programming component or any other relevant training • Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend web development • Advanced mastery of the CMS Wordpress (plugin functionality design, use of ACF Block) • Proficiency in Git for code versioning • In-depth knowledge of advanced PHP concepts • Experience in database design and management • Knowledge of the Twig templating language preferred
