📋 Description

• As the Chief Medical Officer at SmarterDx, you will drive customer success by leveraging your deep medical expertise (MD) to support, educate, and guide our healthcare clients in utilizing our state-of-the-art Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) technology solutions. • You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that clients fully maximize the benefits of our platform. • Your role will also involve building and leading a team of clinical experts to serve as resources for prospective customers, clients, internal stakeholders, and others as SmarterDx continues to expand. • SmarterDx builds clinical AI that empowers hospitals to achieve 100% chart accuracy for revenue integrity. • Our solution helps hospitals tell the most accurate and complete story of the patient and the care that was delivered, which helps them recover millions in earned revenue and improve quality of care scores.

🎯 Requirements

• Clinical Expertise: MD, you understand patient care and the clinical nuances of CDI. • CDI Experience: 5+ years in clinical documentation improvement leadership, hospital CDI, HIM, and/or RCM programs. • Deep familiarity with ICD-10, HCC coding, Medicare guidelines, and payer documentation requirements. • Proven ability to engage with prospects and clients, translating clinical concepts into business impact. • You can distill complex CDI topics into clear, compelling messaging for both clinical and non-clinical audiences. • You’re excited about the role AI can play in transforming CDI and revenue cycle management.
