• Smartsheet is a tech company empowering teams to manage projects and automate workflows. • Seeking an experienced leader for data democratization and self-serve initiatives. • Collaborate on organizing products and reports for stakeholder engagement. • Drive strategy for data self-serve using tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau. • Own data governance and quality in Snowflake database. • Enhance data discoverability and literacy across Smartsheet teams. • Build and manage a team to achieve department objectives. • Clean and transform data for better usability across the business. • Guide data productization based on Smartsheet's business model.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of prior technical program management experience • 5-7 years of prior experience in Analytics Engineering and/or Data Science • 5-7 years of people management/team leadership experience or similar relevant industry experience • Deep understanding of Data modeling techniques like Dimensional and Data Vault • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill information for audiences at all levels • Project and program management experience • Systems mindset with experience in data automation and productization • Critical thinker with analytical and financial skills; strong sense for business success • Excellent problem structuring, identification and resolution • Hands-on experience with SQL, dbt and Snowflake
