Description

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to advance financial inclusion and digital transformation by adapting our platform to comply with local-market needs. • On our team, you will be in the middle of it all - implementing new functionality, architecting our system, squashing bugs, maintaining the health of our code, and continually growing as an engineer. • You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting mission-critical systems. • You'll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical, product, and operational, shaping your personal growth and career along the way, as well as helping mold and grow the team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. • 4+ years of programming experience in Python. • Hands-on experience with automated testing, building, and deployment systems (CI/CD). • Emerging ability to lead and influence a team's technical direction • Hands-on experience with database and cloud technologies (Preferably AWS) • Emerging ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system. • Understanding basic to advanced Python concepts, including data types, functions, object-oriented programming, and standard libraries. • Understanding of relational databases and some proficiency in SQL. • Ability to write and execute unit tests using frameworks like pytest or unittest. • Proficient in debugging and optimizing code for performance and reliability. • Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a mindset geared toward continuous learning and improvement. • Competence with Git and experience using platforms like GitHub for collaboration and code management. • Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS cloud platforms • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and possibly orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
