Description

• Work closely with client studios to bring their games to realization • Work with UX designers to supplement designs and create beautiful art assets to specification • Create and follow art style guides for user interfaces icons and marketing art • Provide constructive feedback to teammates • Format, optimize and export assets for integration • Work with designers and developers in engine to implement UI screens, icons and components accurately • Collaborate with stakeholders to realize and iterate on visual development of interfaces, assets and marketing art • Build a solid relationship with your game development peers in-house and around the world • Support your team mates to accomplish goals

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in game UI or illustration. • Shipped game title(s) • Experience working directly with external clients • Ability to match and work in multiple art styles with little iteration and the ability assist other to do so • Strong portfolio of relevant work experience showcasing a variety of art styles • Expert knowledge of industry-standard vector and rasterized art, design and collaboration software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, XD), Figma, Miro, etc. • Experience with game engines such as Unity 3D, Unreal Engine or proprietary game engines • Strong knowledge of the game UI pipeline and ability to export and integrate assets • Senior level UI graphics or illustration skills and expert understanding of the art and design fundamentals (colour theory, layout, padding etc.) • Understanding of edge cases, and knock-on effects and development cost of design ideas • Problem-solving skills • College diploma or bachelor's degree in interactive design, graphic design, game development or equivalent experience
