• Socket is the first chain abstraction protocol. • Founded in 2021, Socket solves fragmentation between rollups and chains. • Over $11bn facilitated in volumes. • Leveraged by top protocols & applications in the crypto space. • Looking for a Brand & Design Lead to elevate Socket’s brand and presence. • Lead and oversee all aspects of Socket’s brand and visual design. • Collaborate with the team to set brand direction and create designs across diverse platforms. • Contribute to Socket’s story and brand voice. • Oversee brand and marketing projects from start to finish. • Capture technical concepts and translate them visually.
Requirements
• Passionate about the web3 industry, its culture, aesthetics, and brands, with a proven track record in managing end-to-end design processes for brand and marketing launches, including significant contributions to design guidelines and systems. • Over 5 years of expertise in visual and motion graphics, specializing in creating dynamic visuals that enhance storytelling and drive user engagement. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Familiarity with emerging design tools and software. • Skilled in simplifying and effectively communicating technical or complex concepts through innovative design solutions. • Proactive and self-directed, thriving independently in dynamic work environments while taking full ownership of projects. • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and collaboration. • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, WordPress, or Webflow is a plus. • Familiarity with 3D software is preferred.
