📋 Description
• Softtek Government Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Architect to join our team. • Responsible for analyzing, modeling, developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining database models in support of large government programs. • Design and implement data architecture solutions to meet business requirements and support data-driven decision-making. • Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Oversee the integration of data from various sources into a unified data warehouse or data lake. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed. • Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of data-related configurations and customizations. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data architecture and data integration. • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture and data management. • Mentor and train junior team members on data architecture and data management best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of direct related experience. • Permanent Residence/Green Card allowed (must live in the USA) • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role. • In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling, and database design. • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as, Oracle database, SQL Server, or similar. • Knowledge of legacy mainframe database and data management (DB2, VSAM, IMS) • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
