Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive integration tests for various subsystems and end-to-end tests across larger systems. • Define and enhance performance test approaches for the distributed and clustered deployments. • Devise automation approaches for the tests to become easy and repeatedly executable. • Specify, estimate, and carry out testing throughout the development lifecycle. • Systematically capture, analyze, and report integration test results and raw performance metrics, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Take responsibility for areas of process improvement specifically in relation to integration and performance testing. • Propose architectural changes in the evolving and existing systems based on the results of the tests. • Lead on the assessment and selection of integration and performance testing tools that will work with and stretch the products and service's functional and performance characteristics. • Help build the team and culture of testing across other teams • Share knowledge freely during our team learning sessions. • Assist and support less experienced colleagues as required on the appropriate integration and performance testing activities for their products and the use of tools to undertake that testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in integration and performance testing, primarily utilizing JVM-based solutions and custom Java or Scala code, alongside key Linux automation tools • Familiarity with network stack operations, Linux OS optimization, and identifying performance bottlenecks in distributed systems • Hands-on experience with Application Process Interfaces (APIs) and web applications, as well as various streaming protocols • Proficient in using Java, Scala, or Python to create performance-testing assets • Experience with performance testing in cloud environments, particularly AWS or Azure • Experience in the sports data information or betting systems domain is a plus • Familiarity with financial, trading, and risk management systems is an advantage
