Description

• Sophos is a global leader and innovator of advanced security solutions that defeat cyberattacks, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR). • We are looking for a talented, high-energy leader to own Quality Engineering for our Security Operations group. • You will be responsible for owning, developing & driving the strategic quality roadmap, ensuring high quality releases across the group. • This role will require you to work with various stakeholders across Engineering & Product Management to ensure measured, monitored & automation driven software releases with a focus on CI/CD.

Requirements

• 15 -20 years of technical and Quality Assurance experience. • Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience. • Ability and experience in formal supervision, hiring/retaining, coaching, mentoring, and guiding of SDETs. • Knowledge and wide application of Software Engineering, DevOps and Quality Assurance principles, theories, concepts, tools. • Experience in Test Planning, writing Test Strategies. • Hands-on past Automation / Coding and Code Review experience. • Exposure to API testing using REST APIs. • Experience in Testing of SOA/Microservices based Products and CI/CD Deployments. • Knowledge / Experience with Cloud based platforms and technologies. • Experience working with Agile/ Scrum SDLC setup.
