• We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Associate with a focus on job costing, tax payments, receipt management, data entry, and other associated financial tasks. • This role will be pivotal in maintaining precise financial records for our fast-paced, growing group of companies within the construction industry. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, a solid understanding of job costing, and the motivation to evolve with our dynamic team. • They should be proficient in managing the financial details associated with each construction project and adept at cross-functional collaboration to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Requirements

• Degree or Certification in Accounting/Bookkeeping • 3+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, job costing, and associated financial concepts. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Advanced, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office suite • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively • Adaptable and responsive to changes in priorities, projects, and team structures • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on active listening and respectful interaction with team members • Positive contribution to team dynamics and fostering a supportive work environment • Ability to accept and implement feedback constructively for team improvement • Motivated by growth and continuous process improvement • Experience in the construction industry • Familiarity with BuilderTrend and Asana • Experience or basic understanding of intercompany accounting • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and compliance requirements
