• This position provides public relations to promote Sourcewell’s message and value, • Ideates, creates and manages content for various communication channels • Creates and maintains the organizational content strategy • Writes and proofs articles for various publications • Creates and distributes targeted press releases • Utilizes tools to curate and maintain media contact lists • Promotes Sourcewell programs, products, and services • Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships • Collaborates with team members to craft and pitch press releases • Arranges for public appearances and media interviews • Assists with event planning and coordination • Represents Sourcewell at public and community events • Maintains a deep knowledge of all Sourcewell division offerings • Collaborates with marketing team to produce relevant content • Creates content assets to support marketing funnel • Produces messaging for advertisements and collateral pieces • Writes, edits, and sources high-quality content • Creates consistency across all platforms in brand tone • Leverages research and best practices for content development • Manages all social media platforms for all divisions • Implements social media strategies and adopts relevant techniques • Leads community enrichment group and enhances public relations opportunities • Plans and guides communication of information to maintain public perceptions

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Social Media Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business-related field, AND • Five years of demonstrated experience in Public Relations and/or Social Media Marketing OR • A combination of post-secondary education, professional training, and direct relevant work experience equal to eight (8) years • Valid Driver’s License • Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Social Media Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business-related field • Three years business-related experience with cooperatives or government, education, and/or other public agencies
