Description

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. • The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions. • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and define test strategies. • Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. • Identify and prioritise test cases based on risk analysis and business impact, ensuring adequate test coverage for all product features. • Execute manual and automated tests, following established testing processes and methodologies. • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify defects and verify software quality. • Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure of reported issues. • Prepare and communicate test reports and defect metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into product quality and release readiness. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to contribute feedback and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software testing methodologies and tools. • Previous experience working at data projects, including the creation and management of test data to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices. • Proficiency in writing test cases, test scripts, and test automation using programming languages such as, Python, or TypeScript. • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks/tools, such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress or similar. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
