Description

• Evaluating the needs of clients • Conducting screening assessments over the phone • Performing crisis containment • Assisting with risk management plans • Providing immediate telephone crisis counselling/interventions • Liaising with clinical governance around complex cases • Working on service development and expansion tasks

Requirements

• Hold a recognized qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy at Level 5 or higher • Minimum of 100 accrued counselling hours • Individual membership and registration with a professional association or organisation governed by a recognized code of ethics • Strong computer skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task • Strong empathy and listening skills • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, holidays • Experience working with a variety of clients reflecting a wide range of clinical presentations • Strong risk assessment skills
