Description

• Engage and excite high school students about skilled trade careers • Set up custom, double-expandable trailer and operate interactive stations • Travel the state of Alabama, typically Monday - Friday • Assist CDL partner in setup and preparation of the Mobile Workshop • Ensure event trailer and interactive exhibits are clean and operational • Deliver Be Pro Be Proud message to students during events • Tear down the trailer and pack exhibits at the end of each event • Work with point of contact at schools to ensure event planning • Full training provided for operation of trailer and technology aboard

Requirements

• Leadership, Integrity, and Positive Energy always come first • Must be the safest of drivers over-the-road • Strong safety mindset and desire to promote safety culture • Must be a resident of Alabama and live in state • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Desire to work with high school-aged students • Ability to engage and create excitement around skilled trades • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Clean criminal and motor vehicle background • Experience with moving and setting up custom expandable event trailers, preferred • Comfortable with public speaking in front of small groups • Strong client service skills • Pleasant and positive customer service skills • Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and technology problems • Ability to self-manage, and work independently and as part of a team • Computer skills – Ability to use a tablet computer, email, MS Suite, various Web-Based applications
