• Provide general accounting support to the management team, and assist with ad hoc projects • Assist in country specific statutory accounts, audit, and tax reporting requirements • Assist with treasury functions • Responsible for various month-end close processes, including: • Review variances between actual and budget • C alculate and post accrued expense entries • Record payroll expense for various entities • Balance sheet responsibility for one or more general ledger accounts. Including reconciliations of cash, prepaids accrued expenses, and various other accounts • Compile support for our annual financial statement audit and respond to related ad hoc requests for support • Assist with international VAT and GST tax filings and corporate income tax schedules as needed • Work with collections team to identify customer payment differences • Research and post customer cash receipts from various bank accounts • Review and approve vendor bills to ensure proper expense coding • Validate vendor payment list
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field • AAP certificate, required • NetSuite experience preferred • One to three years of work experience • Sound understanding of accounting principles • A high level of attention to detail, and strong organizational skills • The ability to take ownership of issues across the accounting spectrum and see them through to completion • Fluent in English and German is required
