• We are changing the way people buy or lease cars, fixing the largely broken used cars sector. • Spotawheel, an Endeavor company, is a trusted high-tech used cars B2C platform that redesigned the whole buy-sell process from scratch. • Spotawheel has been recognized as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years. • We are currently looking for a Mid Level PHP Engineer to join our Technology Team in Athens. • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient backend systems. • Your Key Responsibilities will be to: Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks. Collaborate with front-end developers, write clean and efficient code, troubleshoot existing applications, and participate in Agile development processes.
Requirements
• Strong proficiency in PHP and preferably Laravel • At least 3 years of experience in back-end development • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) • Knowledge of API development and RESTful principles • Understanding of version control systems (Git) • Excellent command of the English Language, both written and verbal • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Solid understanding of front-end technologies fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) would be considered a plus • Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android) would be considered a plus
